I like the idea of the color black also. How are you doing on the 1930’s frill blouse in lilac moon? Such wonderful patterns!!! I can not wait to start knitting some vintage patterns, I am waiting for some to show up via mail that I purhased on ebay! I am so happy to have found your vintage knitting blog, you have such wonderful ideas and information that you share, thank you!
This is from a Good Needlework magazine. Soon I will be selling a whole bound set of that year if anyone is interested. I bought a duplicate as I found a second set of these magzines bound recently. I wanted the 1931 year so I will have 1931-1933 completely then two extra sets of 1932 & 1933.

That sweater is adorable. I wonder, though, how it would look on a modern woman who actually has lumps on her chest :-).

You can always make a sweater longer! That’s the easy part. Unfortunately I am part of the itty bitty tiny club so no worries for me. ;(

This is just adorable. What color would you make it in, perhaps navy blue? Very cute!

Navy blue sounds nice, maybe even black?! I’ll have to look back at the pattern tonight to see if it suggests anything.

Does it include a pattern for the little hat? It’s so cute.

That is just adorable. I love the nautical look of it and her jaunty stance. Lucky you to find such a pattern.

This is absolutely great!!! Is it possible to have the pattern and knitting up instructions?

It would look fine in navy blue and white.
